We had our first model photo shoot since Nena’s re-launched in December 2017 and recently also launched our new Online Shop. The whole process of preparations and then the actual shooting day were very exciting for our team! For us, this meant that Nena Skincare would finally form its’ visual representation of identity, and the answer to our most burning question: “Who is NENA?” From over 30 applications of Canadian models, we selected 5 finalists, who then tried and submitted pictures wearing our star product, the Nena Clay Mask. It was a tough decision to make as all girls were extremely beautiful, but in the end we we’re breathe taken by two models: Talaysay, who convinced us with her mesmerizing, fierce looks and creative shots, and Naomi, whose naturally beautiful skin and unique features were compelling. After spending months on branding and planning, which included market research, model and MUA recruitment, and mood board creation, it was incredibly rewarding to see the results of our work. We focused on getting images for our new online shop and social media platforms, as well as some new exciting projects we have coming up.
The shoot was filled with both productivity and fun. We started with some clean and natural makeup shots and slowly moved towards product and application shots.
